About Bansri
Bansri Om Chavda is an Indian contemporary artist and educator based in Mumbai, with more than 25 years of artistic practice and 13 years of exploring the relationship between art and spirituality. Her work moves through abstraction, devotion, sound and memory, asking what becomes possible when creating art is approached as a contemplative act.
A former faculty member at École Intuit Lab, she has developed more than 600 lesson plans across Visual Expression and Art History and has exhibited internationally, including at Red Dot Miami. Her work explores the meeting point between artistic practice, inward reflection and spiritual symbolism.
