About Tova
Tova Olsson is a scholar of religion and yoga educator whose work brings academic research into conversation with embodied practice. For more than two decades, she has studied and taught yoga, Tantra and Indian religious traditions, with a particular interest in making complex philosophies accessible without reducing them to simple spiritual slogans.
She holds an MA in the History of Religions, is a PhD researcher working on Tantra and gender studies, and is the author of Yoga and Tantra: History, Philosophy and Mythology. She also teaches internationally across yoga teacher trainings and leads pilgrimages to Shakti Pithas in India.
